Atucha Strategic Advisory and MentorBet form a strategic alliance for the Mexican market.

Atucha Strategic Advisory (ASA) and MentorBet, the consulting arm of Grupo Oklahoma, have formed a strategic alliance to develop the Mexican betting and gaming market. Antonio Lara will lead MentorBet's participation on the Mexican side.
The teams will work together in the field for the first time at SiGMA North America in Mexico City, where Ramiro Atucha and Eliane Nunes from ASA will meet with local operators and suppliers from September 1st to 3rd.
ASA works with a deliberately small group of technology and content providers, one company per vertical, and drives their commercial development in Latin America. Today it represents Kiron Interactive in esports, End2End in multiplayer bingo, and Immensity in marketing attribution, with new verticals in the process of being incorporated.
MentorBet is the consulting arm of Grupo Oklahoma, the Mexican group headed by Antonio “Toño” Macías, with over twenty years in the country's gaming industry. The group manufactures and markets equipment for land-based casinos, operates a dealer training school, and has established operations in Peru, Colombia, and Costa Rica. MentorBet was created to help international companies enter and grow in Mexico, and is headed by Antonio Lara, who spent seven years at AIEJA, the Mexican association of licensees, operators, and suppliers in the sector, where he coordinated the online gaming commission.
The alliance encompasses market intelligence and joint monitoring to identify the best entry route into Mexico for ASA's clients, as well as bringing high-value solutions to the local gaming ecosystem.
Ramiro Atucha, founder of Atucha Strategic Advisory, stated: “I have known Antonio Lara for many years and have always admired his work, especially what he did at AIEJA, where he earned the respect of operators, licensees, and suppliers alike. What made the decision easy was finding behind him a group with more than twenty years in this market, and Macías supporting the project from the top. We understand Latin America, but understanding the region is not enough. Each country has its own regulations, timelines, and codes. Mexico is not like Brazil or Colombia. Therefore, in each market we seek the best possible ally, someone who allows us to zoom in and truly be involved. In Mexico, that ally is MentorBet.”
Antonio Macías, Grupo Oklahoma, added: “When Antonio Lara brought this to me, one conversation was all it took. Ramiro built and managed companies that this market knows well, and he is bringing in companies that solve real problems for Mexican operators. Our group has been in this industry for over twenty years, and everything we have built here is at the disposal of ASA and the companies it represents. Antonio Lara leads this alliance for us and has our full support.”
Antonio Lara, MentorBet, commented: “I am very happy with this alliance. I have known Ramiro for years and there is a mutual appreciation and respect that made this conversation natural from day one. Mexico has a great opportunity ahead, but also nuances that need to be understood in order to take advantage of it. What we bring is the entire structure of the group and our daily work in the field, so that the companies represented by ASA have a local partner here and not a remote reading of the market.”
