Bichara e Motta wins in betting at Brazil's Leading Lawyers Awards 2025
The law firm Bichara e Motta Advogados won the award in the “Sports, Betting and Gambling” category during the Brazil's Leading Lawyers Awards (BRALLAW). The event took place on Thursday (16) in São Paulo, bringing together representatives from the country's leading law firms.
The award, organized by Leaders League, uses a methodology that involves four evaluation stages and analysis by a specialized jury from the Brazilian legal sector.
Udo Seckelmann, a lawyer at Bichara e Motta Advogados, highlighted the importance of the recognition for the firm. “After being recognized in the most important global legal rankings for 2025 (such as Chambers and Partners, Lexology Index, and Leaders League), it is a great joy to be the first law firm to win the Brazil's Leading Lawyers Award 2025 in the category of Best Law Firm in Brazil in the areas of Sports, Betting, and Gambling,” said Seckelmann.
The lawyer attributed the award to the work developed by the company's specialized department. "It was an excellent way to crown the hard work we've done with our Gambling & Crypto department, created in 2021, with which we've experienced, along with our clients, the diverse challenges faced by the gaming and betting sector until we reached this point of a regulated market," stated Seckelmann.

The BRALLAW award, currently in its fourth edition, has recognized more than 80 law firms and legal professionals since its inception.
