Brazil is a benchmark in the Latin American betting market.

The Brazilian market for games and sports betting has been consolidating itself as the main reference in Latin America. With a connected population engaged with sports, the country leads the sector in the region in both transaction volume and user engagement.
It is estimated that by 2026 Brazil will account for 39% of all gross gaming revenue (GGR) from betting in Latin America, ahead of countries such as Mexico (21%), Argentina (13%), Peru (5%) and Colombia (4%), according to the “IBIA Q1 2026 Integrity Report” by the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).
The survey “Panorama of the Fixed-Odds Betting Market”, conducted by LCA Consultores and Cruz Consulting for the Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR) and ANJL, published in 2025, projected an injection of R$ 7,5 billion in equity capital into the formal sector and the creation of 15,5 jobs. A study by the consulting firm Regulus Partners, reported by BBC News, indicates that the country ended 2025 as the fifth largest global betting market, with estimated revenue of US$ 4,1 billion, approximately R$ 22 billion.
The numbers show that the betting sector in Brazil has ceased to be a secondary niche and has become one of the largest in the world. This growth has been driven by technical advancements and, above all, by federal regulation, which has brought legal certainty, transparency, and protection to bettors.
In this scenario of consolidation of the regulated market, Ana Gaming Brasil, the holding company that manages the 7K Bet brand, was one of the first groups to obtain authorization from the Prizes and Betting Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance to operate legally in the national territory. The company has a robust infrastructure: approximately 340 employees.
As part of the experience it offers, the company maintains the protection tools stipulated in the regulations, such as identity verification, usage limits, and self-exclusion, treating betting as adult entertainment and moderation as a condition for a sustainable relationship with the user.
“Being among the first authorized companies in Brazil is a milestone that validates our operation and our respect for the Brazilian consumer. The national market has reached a level of maturity that demands excellence. With the security of a regulated environment, we are ready to accelerate our investments in innovation, offering an increasingly safe, transparent, and personalized entertainment experience for our customers,” says Marco Tulio Oliveira, CEO of Ana Gaming Brazil.
Market regulation in Brazil also sets a new standard for other Latin American countries seeking to structure their own legislation. The Brazilian model combines strict compliance rules with the country's consumption potential.
“Brazil, in addition to being the largest market on the continent in terms of volume, is also a benchmark in governance and business potential. Ana Gaming Brasil was founded with the mission of contributing to the sector through innovation and responsibility. We plan to expand our product portfolio in the coming years and strengthen our social responsibility initiatives, operating ethically, safely, and within the rules,” says Nickolas Tadeu Ribeiro de Campos, founder and Chairman of the Board of Ana Gaming Brasil.
Regulated since January 2025, the Brazilian market is expected to continue distancing itself from others in Latin America, attracting investments and partnerships in sports and media.
