This special edition includes 14 of the 16 decisive matches of the tournament. The fifth and final match in the Loteca da Copa series, contest 1259, with bets open between Sunday morning (June 28th) and Monday noon (June 29th).

Caixa Loterias launches the fifth and final installment of the Loteca da Copa series, contest 1259, with bets open between Sunday morning (June 28th) and Monday noon (June 29th). This edition concludes an unprecedented cycle of special contests created to coincide with the 2026 World Cup, bringing together 14 of the 16 knockout stage matches on a single ticket.

The estimated prize for contest 1259 is R$ 1 million. The winning draws take place between June 29th at 14 PM and July 3rd at 21 PM. The accounting for the lottery operator will be done on the first business day after the contest closes. The franchise for the marketplace channel follows the same rules as regular contests, without any differentiated franchise.

Unprecedented series: five rounds in the World Cup

The Loteca Cup was conceived as a series of special contests integrated into the tournament calendar. During June, the editions were structured exclusively with World Cup matches and adopted different prize rules, including the non-accumulation of the main prize; a significant change compared to the product's traditional format.

The first contest in the series recorded revenue close to R$ 20 million, a performance superior to that of subsequent editions. The difference is attributed to the longer sales period available at that opening. The three subsequent contests operated in shorter windows, a condition that directly impacts the volume of bets collected.

The fifth edition, corresponding to contest 1259, incorporates games from the second phase of the Cup and completes Loteca's coverage of the tournament. The inclusion of the knockout phase increases bettor engagement compared to previous rounds, which covered the group stage.

Loteca contest 1259 is worth R$ 1 million and closes an unprecedented cycle of bets on the World Cup.

How is the prize calculated?

The gross prize is equivalent to 55% of the total revenue from the contest. This amount is distributed among the winners as follows:

⇒ 70% chance for those who correctly predict all 14 games;

⇒ 15% for those who get 13 games right;

⇒ 15% for those who correctly predicted all 14 games in contests ending in 0 or 5.

To participate, the bettor indicates the expected outcome of each match, with three options per game: home team win, draw, or away team win. It is possible to mark two columns in the same match (Double mode) or three columns (Triple mode), increasing the chances of winning at the cost of a more expensive bet.

The minimum bet costs R$ 4,00 and is equivalent to a Double. The final bet amount increases proportionally to the number of Doubles and Triples selected.

Next special edition: Father's Day

Following the conclusion of the World Cup series, Loteca is preparing a Father's Day commemorative edition for August. The Father's Day Loteca is scheduled for Monday (August 9th) and will be aimed at the product's traditional audience. The date and thematic focus follow Caixa's strategy of creating special editions associated with dates on the national calendar, a pattern already established with the World Cup series.
