Diamond Poker Club & Sportbar opens entertainment and betting complex in João Pessoa.
The Diamond Poker Club & Sportbar, a new entertainment, leisure and betting complex, will be inaugurated in João Pessoa this Thursday (15). The venture is located on Avenida João Maurício, opposite Praia de Manaíra, and will bring together poker, broadcasting of sporting events, authorized lottery games, bar, cocktail bar and gastronomy.
The opening ceremony will take place at 19 pm and will feature special guests, including authorities, businesspeople, and personalities from the local scene. The complex integrates different attractions such as Lotto Master, Realeza da Sorte, JPT – Joker's Poker Tour, and HAO in a single space, which will initially generate 150 direct and indirect jobs.
The establishment operates with legal, regulatory, operational, and accounting separation between its various segments. Lottery operations function under the authorization and supervision of the Paraíba State Lottery (LOTEP), including Fixed-Odds Betting and Instant Lottery modalities.
"DIAMOND was created with the goal of offering an integrated, safe, transparent, and fully regulated experience, inspired by the best international practices in the gaming and betting sector, positioning João Pessoa as one of the emerging capitals of regulated entertainment in Brazil," states the complex's management.
The space offers a sports bar with live broadcasts of sporting events and a membership-based poker club. The complex also provides premium bar and gastronomic services, with a menu designed by nationally renowned chef Onildo Rocha. Each operation functions autonomously, without operational or financial integration with the lottery activities.
Manaíra Vip is responsible for the administration of Diamond, taking care of reception, organization, security, and institutional services. The company does not engage in activities related to gambling or betting, limiting itself to administrative functions.
Diamond's business model is aligned with state lottery public policy and respects the competence of the states in operating the public lottery service, as per the decisions of the Supreme Federal Court in ADPFs 492 and 493.
The project aims to contribute to the formalization of the betting market, consumer protection, combating the informal market, and increasing tax revenue. Diamond also seeks to stimulate local economic development, bringing a contemporary concept that integrates various leisure options in a sophisticated 1.200 m² environment, with capacity to accommodate up to 400 people simultaneously.
With planned operating hours from Sunday to Sunday, from 2 PM to 14 AM, the complex promises to be a new meeting point in the capital of Paraíba, offering a complete entertainment experience in an elegant and safe environment, with its own parking and valet service.
