Sports and Tourism receive R$ 2,86 billion in bets and will account for 60% of the resources in 2025.

Pay4Fun has released a groundbreaking survey on the allocation of funds raised from betting in Brazil in 2025. The study, based on data from the Ministry of Finance obtained through the Access to Information Law, shows that Sports and Tourism were the most benefited areas. Together, these two sectors accounted for more than 60% of the total amount distributed throughout the year.

Sports received approximately R$ 1,6 billion. Tourism received around R$ 1,26 billion, according to information published by Lauro Jardim on Globo Online.

Public Security comes in third place, with R$ 597 million allocated, representing 14,8% of the total. Social Security received R$ 416 million (10,3%). Education received R$ 412 million (10,2%).

Ministries such as Health, civil society organizations, Funapol, and ABDI each received less than 1% of the total amount collected.

The betting sector registered growth of 32,6% in the second half of 2025. The expansion occurred after adjustments to the segment's regulations.

The survey does not detail the total amount collected from bets during the period. It also does not specify the criteria used to distribute the funds among the different areas of the federal government.
