Former Big Brother Brazil contestant Paulinha Leite clarifies Caixa's lawsuit against lottery pool company.

Paulinha Leite, former participant of Big Brother Brasil (BBB), spoke out about the legal action filed by Caixa Econômica Federal against the company Unindo Sonhos, of which she is a partner. The statement was made in a video published on Instagram Stories this Tuesday (30), while her platform organizes bets for the Mega-Sena da Virada, with an estimated prize of R$ 1 billion.
"This Caixa [bank] process... It existed, I think it's been going on for two or three years, it's an old process," said the former Big Brother Brazil contestant, known for sharing her lottery predictions with her followers on social media.
The Brazilian Federal Savings Bank (Caixa Econômica Federal) is questioning the business model of Unindo Sonhos, which operates as an intermediary for lottery group bets. The bank argues that only it has legal authorization to operate lottery services in Brazil, contesting the intermediation of bets by private companies.

According to Paulinha, the legal process had a favorable outcome for her company. "The Superior Court understood that my action, my work at Unindo Sonhos, is completely legal, completely legitimate, and I am authorized to continue doing what I do, which is the intermediation of the lottery pool," she stated.
The businesswoman explained that her service acts as a facilitator for bettors. "I offer the service so people don't have to go to a lottery shop, don't have to wait in line, and can do it from the comfort of their own home," she stated.
The 38-year-old woman from Roraima has accumulated more than 50 prizes in different bets over the years, totaling approximately R$ 40 million, according to her own statement. Despite her history of winning, Paulinha denied having any special abilities to predict results. “These numbers I give, it’s not that… I’m not a psychic. I didn’t predict the numbers,” she clarified.
Commenting on the repercussions of the case, the former Big Brother Brazil contestant adopted an ironic tone: "And I'm going to win that R$ 1 billion again, then they'll have to sue me again."
