André Feldman's legacy is remembered in a tribute at the Bet Summit 2025.

The legacy of businessman André Feldman, CEO of BIG Brazil , from Americana , was remembered in a tribute at the Bet Summit 2025, which took place in Brasília on Tuesday, July 8th.

Featuring several prominent figures from the sports betting industry, the event highlighted André's career path in a tribute led by his longtime friend Magnho José, a journalist specializing in lotteries, games, and betting, editor of the BNLData Portal, and president of the Brazilian Legal Gaming Institute – IJL.

André Feldman passed away in January 2025, a victim of a tragic helicopter accident that also claimed the life of his wife, Juliana Feldman.

Despite the loss, André's career remains a benchmark in the sector. Over the last decade, he spearheaded several important initiatives, including the official representation of Caesars Entertainment in Brazil and the founding of BIG Brazil. He also served as a strategic consultant for four international groups, focusing on bringing the Brazilian market closer to global operators, and was a key figure in advancing the legislation regulating casinos in Brazil.

The moving tribute was attended by André's mother, Maria Teresa Feldman, as well as partners Rodrigo Cariola, Celso Olivatto, and Fabiano de Paula. Also present were testimonials from friends such as Senator Rogério Carvalho, the president of Loterj, Hazenclever Lopes, the CEO of Pay4Fun, Leonardo Baptista, and former Ministry of Finance employee, Waldir Marques Jr.

“I would like to thank you for the tribute to my son André. I am a witness to his commitment and dedication throughout his life to achieving regulation. Unfortunately, my beloved, dear, and wonderful son tragically passed away at the moment when this dream was coming true. I taught André that a dream has no size. May my son's memory be a blessing to us all,” said Maria Teresa.

The Bet Summit 2025 featured the participation of the Secretaries of Prizes and Betting of the Ministry of Finance – SPA – MF, Regis Dudena, and the National Secretary of Sports Betting and Economic Development of Sport of the Ministry of Sport, Giovanni Rocco Neto. In addition to Rogério, two other senators also participated in the meeting: Irajá Silvestre (PSD/TO) and Laércio Oliveira (PP-SE). The event's program included panels on topics such as cybersecurity, data protection, financial transactions in iGaming, and the legalization of casinos in Brazil.
