Lotep participates in debate on integrity and regulation of games at iLab-Security 2026
The Paraíba State Lottery (Lotep) consolidated its position as a benchmark in governance and institutional security during the II National Public Security Conference – iLab-Segurança 2026. Held between March 03rd and 06th at the Brazil International Convention Center (CICB) in Brasília, the event reaffirmed itself as one of the main spaces for strategic articulation between the National Councils of the country's security forces.
Recognized as one of the most relevant forums for innovation and integration in the sector in Brazil, the conference brought together state secretaries, commanders-in-chief, and delegates from across the country, functioning as a laboratory for the formulation of public policies with a direct impact on state agendas and the National Congress. In 2026, the central focus was the economic strangulation of organized crime and the strengthening of efficient regulatory frameworks. In addition to technical discussions on new technologies, the program also hosted the XCVIII Ordinary Meeting of CONSESP.
The Lotep delegation at the event was led by Superintendent Petrônio Rolim, accompanied by the employee responsible for the Digital Security and Technological Development area, Christhiny Sanson. Also part of the delegation were the Technical and Inspection Manager, Abraão Araújo, and the coordinator of the Technical-Regulatory Advisory Office, João Gilberto Montenegro. This joint participation reinforced the agency's multidisciplinary approach, bringing together expertise in regulation, technology, inspection, and regulatory formulation.

Lotep played a prominent role in Panel 39 — Lottery Game Operations, which addressed critical topics such as the Integrity Unit of Brazilian Football, the fight against money laundering, and the use of information technology in state controls.
Lotep's superintendent, Petrônio Rolim, acted as moderator of the panel, leading discussions on the challenges of regulation and integrity in sports. Meanwhile, civil servant Christinny Sanson participated as a speaker, sharing Paraíba's experience in implementing monitoring and governance systems to prevent fraud and ensure transparency in operations.
The superintendent highlighted the strategic importance of integration:
“Moderating this panel at an event discussing financial intelligence and qualified repression of illegal activity is an honor for Lotep. Lotep, as a regulatory agency, has the role of ensuring that gambling operations are an ally of social development, operating under pillars of transparency and legal security that protect the State and the citizen.”
Complementing the management perspective, Christhiny Sanson addressed innovation in internal processes:
“Sharing Lotep’s vision in a lecture for the public security sector is essential for discussing the integrity of operations. We demonstrated how the restructuring of our systems and the definition of clear procedures strengthen the transparency and effectiveness of lottery regulation in Paraíba in the face of new technological challenges.”

The delegation also closely followed the debates on intelligence, data, and cooperation with the productive sector. Lotep's participation reinforces the need for an integrated approach between efficient regulation and public security to combat manipulation of results and irregularities in the sector.
