CAIXA Lotteries raised R$ 11,6 billion in the first half of 2025. CAIXA released the figures on Wednesday (17), after the market closed. The amount represents a 6,0% reduction compared to the same period in 2024. This data is especially relevant for the Brazilian population, as the revenue from CAIXA Lotteries constitutes an important source of resources for social programs and public investments throughout the country.

The lower number of accumulated prizes this year, compared to the same period last year, was the main factor for the drop in revenue. Despite the reduction, R$ 4,4 billion was allocated to the Federal Government's social programs, equivalent to 38,2% of the total collected.

The proceeds from CAIXA Lotteries are directed towards areas such as social security, sports, culture, public safety, education, and health. This mechanism serves as a source of funding for public policies throughout the country.

Bettors received R$ 4,3 billion in net prizes during the first half of 2025. This amount represents an increase of 8,2% compared to the same period of the previous year.

CAIXA recorded a net accounting profit of R$ 9,784 billion in the first six months of 2025. This result exceeds by 70,22% the profit obtained in the same period of 2024, when the institution reached R$ 5,748 billion.

In the sports sector, CAIXA Lotteries' current sponsorships total R$ 418,2 million. Of this total, R$ 186,7 million was contracted in the first half of 2025, reinforcing support for sports as a tool for social inclusion.

The R$ 4,4 billion allocated to social programs during the first half of 2025 supports various government projects in priority areas, even with the reduction in total lottery revenue.
