LOTERJ participates in the Sports Tourism Forum and discusses the integration between sports, tourism, and entertainment.

LOTERJ participated in the III Sports Tourism Forum, held during COBEXPO in São Paulo. The meeting brought together representatives from different sectors to discuss ways to expand the integration between tourism, sports and entertainment, and the impacts of this connection on the economy.
The head of the local authority, Fabíola Esteves, participated in the debates alongside the Director of Investments at UN Tourism, Daniel Nepomuceno, and the president of IDT-CEMA, Bruno Omori.
One of the central themes of the discussion was the potential of major national and international sporting events as drivers of tourism. In addition to attracting visitors, these competitions stimulate a wide range of activities, boosting sectors such as hospitality, gastronomy, commerce, and services.
The debate also addressed new entertainment experiences associated with tourism, including video lottery (VLTs) and sports bars. The proposal is to integrate these modalities into the dynamics of tourist destinations, expanding leisure options and creating new business opportunities and revenue generation.
