Mega da Virada: Social media users complain about delays in placing bets online.
Those who waited until the last minute to place their Mega da Virada bets will face difficulties even online. This is because the website and app for the Caixa Econômica Federal lottery experienced glitches this Friday morning, forcing users to wait in virtual queues to access the site.
Unable to place bets, Twitter users took to the social network to complain about the inconvenience. "The lottery app is so good it has an online queue. Now that's thinking about the user experience," says one of the posts.
The Caixa Econômica Federal lottery betting app also featured a virtual waiting line this Thursday (12/30), which generated complaints and ironic comments on social media from people who had to wait in a virtual queue to be able to place bets online.
Caixa has not yet commented on the failures.
It's worth remembering that bets for the Mega da Virada lottery can be placed until 17 PM today at lottery outlets throughout the country, through the Loterias Online portal, and via the Loterias Caixa app, available on Android and iOS platforms. Caixa customers can place their bets through the bank's app. The draw will take place at 20 PM.
This year's Mega Sena da Virada will pay out the largest prize in the lottery's history: R$ 350 million.
