Murici dos Portelas opens bidding process to operate municipal lottery with physical and digital betting options.

The Municipal Government of Murici dos Portelas (PI), a municipality with 8.464 inhabitants, opened a bidding process to hire a company that will explore, implement and operate municipal lottery services. Electronic Tender No. 4/2025 was announced this Monday (17) and will take place on January 9, 2025, at 8 am.

The subject of the tender includes the integrated management of betting on physical and digital platforms, encompassing numerical prediction games, instant games, and fixed-odds sports betting. The entire process follows the guidelines of Law No. 14.133/2021 and its amendments.

The municipality of Piauí has ​​made the complete notice available for consultation by interested parties at the city hall, located at Avenida Lira Portela, 194, downtown. The documentation can be accessed from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 12 pm.

To facilitate access to information, the municipal administration also published the notice on the website http://www.comprasmuricidosportelas.com.br . The announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Union this Monday. The Municipality of Murici dos Portelas signed the official document on November 14, 2025, three days before its publication in the Official Gazette.

The project includes all types of games authorized by current legislation. The initiative seeks to implement a complete betting system in the municipality of the State of Piauí, following trends already adopted by other Brazilian cities in the gaming sector.
