The 2026 FIFA World Cup is underway, and among Brazil's standout players, Vinícius Jr. has once again shown why he is one of the greatest football players in the world. Seeing him shine on football's biggest stage reminded me of a very special moment I had the privilege of experiencing a few months ago.
At the SiGMA Gala Dinner in São Paulo, I had the honor of making my first donation to the renowned SiGMA Foundation, acquiring an autographed photograph of Vinícius Jr. during the charity auction.
What made that night unforgettable was not just the item itself, but what it represented. Behind each bid was something much bigger than a collector's item: it was an opportunity to support humanitarian projects that transform lives around the world.
That night, I left deeply inspired by the Foundation's mission. Its commitment to education, health, community development, and sustainable humanitarian initiatives demonstrated how a sector can generate genuine and lasting impact when success is aligned with purpose.
Today, as Vinícius Jr. continues to score goals and help Brazil advance in the tournament, I can't help but think about how significant that autographed photo has become. It's no longer just a football memento—it's a reminder that sport has the power to unite people, inspire generosity, and create opportunities far beyond the stadium.
The SiGMA Foundation has built something remarkable. By integrating charity auctions into iGaming events across different continents, it transforms business gatherings into platforms for compassion and positive change.
