Caixa Econômica Federal announces a R$ 10 million increase in prize money one week before the draw; bets close on Saturday and the prize does not accumulate.

Caixa Econômica Federal has increased the estimated prize for the Quina de São João 2026 from R$ 250 million to R$ 260 million. The announcement was made on Saturday (20), a week before the draw.

The special contest 7051 will be held on Sunday (28), at 14 pm, at CTN – Centro de Tradições Nordestinas de SP , in São Paulo. Individual bets close at 22 pm on Saturday (27); group bets have until 13 pm on the day of the draw. Until the contest takes place, the regular editions of Quina are suspended.

Bets can be placed at lottery outlets throughout the country, through the CAIXA Lotteries portal , the CAIXA Lotteries app (available for Android and iOS users), and CAIXA Internet Banking (IBC), exclusively for CAIXA account holders. To play, simply mark 5 to 15 numbers from the 80 available on the betting slip. Those who wish can also let the system choose the numbers using the "Surpresinha" option. Prizes are awarded to those who match 2, 3, 4, or 5 numbers. Each simple Quina bet (five numbers) costs R$ 3,00.

As with other special lotteries promoted by CAIXA Loterias, the main prize does not accumulate. If there are no winning bets with five numbers, the prize is divided among those who guessed four numbers, and so on, according to the rules of the game. Single bets close at 22 pm on Saturday the 27th, and group bets will close at 13 pm on Sunday, the day of the draw.

This initiative marks another strategic moment for connecting with customers and enthusiasts, bringing together expectation, tradition, and unique opportunities. The campaign reinforces the festive character of the June season, a period recognized for its strong cultural and commercial mobilization throughout the country.

The draw will take place at 14 PM on June 28th and will be broadcast nationwide on the CAIXA Lotteries Facebook page , the G1 Portal, and the CAIXA YouTube channel.

How to bet

Each single bet costs R$ 3. The bettor must mark between 5 and 15 numbers out of the 80 available on the betting slip. For those who prefer to let the system choose, there is the "Quick Pick" option.

Prizes are awarded to bettors who correctly guess 2, 3, 4, or 5 numbers. Because it is a special draw, the prize does not accumulate; if no bettor correctly guesses all five numbers in the main prize category, the amount is divided among the winners of the second prize category, with four correct guesses, and so on.

Group bets have a minimum value of R$ 15, and each share cannot be less than R$ 4. Between 2 and 50 people participate per group bet.

Most frequently drawn numbers in history

Since the first edition of the Quina de São João lottery in 2011, the number 55 has been the most frequently drawn, appearing four times. The numbers 14, 15, 17, 26, 28, 36, and 79 follow, each drawn three times. Ten other numbers have been drawn twice each: 7, 13, 27, 29, 47, 53, 60, 70, and 78.
