SBC confirms that the September dates for the SBC Summit will remain unchanged.
The global event will return to the Lisbon International Fair and the MEO Arena from September 29 to October 1, 2026, and from September 21 to 23, 2027.

SBC Events has reiterated the 2026 dates and announced the 2027 dates for its flagship event, the SBC Summit , which recently brought together 30.000 industry professionals in Lisbon. The global event will return to the Lisbon International Fair and the MEO Arena from September 29 to October 1, 2026, and from September 21 to 23, 2027.

Having secured these dates in 2023, SBC continues to consistently lead, ensuring that the sector enjoys predictable planning and is free from scheduling bottlenecks.

“Clarity and predictability, at least with regard to dates, are vital. Our partners deserve to plan ahead without uncertainty,” said Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC. “By setting our dates well in advance, we ensure that everyone can organize their year efficiently and contribute to a well-balanced industry events calendar.”

Since 2015, SBC has held its main exhibition and conference in September, establishing itself as the leading industry event after the European summer break. The event provides the perfect opportunity for sales and strategic planning for the following year.

“Our dates for 2026 are slightly later than usual to avoid conflicts with the major Jewish religious holidays that will occur in mid-September 2026, but will return to their normal calendar from 2027 onwards.”

The move from Barcelona to Lisbon marked a turning point for the event. Renamed SBC Summit to reflect its global vision, it has since experienced exponential growth and recognition across the industry. Its reputation as the fastest-growing event in the sector is proven by the numbers: the 2025 edition attracted 76,6% first-time attendees and 57,5% new companies, confirming its position as a pivotal day on the global gaming calendar.

“Our focus has always been on serving the industry, not competing with it,” added Sojmark. “The consistency in the schedule reflects this mindset. When organizers align around a clear and predictable calendar, everyone benefits, from exhibitors and sponsors to attendees, who can make the most of each event they wish to attend.”

With an expected attendance of 35 professionals from the areas of betting, gaming, payments, marketing, and technology, the 2026 edition promises to raise the bar once again. "The biggest event in the gaming industry has many surprises in store. Stay tuned," said Sojmark.
