SBC reveals the 2026 class of the SBC Hall of Fame.
Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the SBC Hall of Fame was launched in 2016 as the Sports Betting Hall of Fame, at a time when the industry was very different from what we know today.

The SBC announced the five individuals whose achievements and influence earned them a place in the 2026 Hall of Fame .

The ceremony will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 15:30 PM, at the Hotel Palácio Estoril in Lisbon, as part of the SBC Leaders Summit, an exclusive event for high-level executives in the sector, which will take place one day before the opening of the SBC Summit 2026.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the SBC Hall of Fame was launched in 2016 as the Sports Betting Hall of Fame, at a time when the industry was very different from what we know today. A decade later, this year's induction ceremony honors five figures whose careers have helped shape the global betting and gaming industry as we know it today.

The new members of the class of 2026 include:

⇒ Khalid Ali (CEO, International Gambling Integrity Association)

⇒ David Natroshvili (Founder, Spribe)

⇒ Jason Robins (Co-founder and CEO of DraftKings)

⇒ Karen Marcela Sierra-Hughes (Vice President for Latin America, the Caribbean and Spain, Gaming Laboratories International)

⇒ Mor Weizer (CEO, Playtech)

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC, said: “When I look at this year’s five honorees, what impresses me is the breadth of their fields. Entrepreneurship, technology, integrity, regulation, operational leadership. It’s not common to find so many people in one place. Celebrating them in Lisbon is not just about honoring five great careers. It’s an opportunity to recognize how much our industry has evolved and the people who have brought us to where we are today.”

This year's honorees join a distinguished group of previous honorees, including the 2025 honorees: Esmeralda Britton (President of the Junta de Protección Social de Costa Rica), Chad Millman (Co-founder of The Action Network), Scotty Schettler (Former Director of Race and Sports at Stardust), and Shelley White (Former CEO of the Responsible Gambling Council).

Among the members already honored in the Hall of Fame are some of the most recognized figures in the industry, including John Anderson (former CEO of 888 Holdings PLC), Victor Chandler (founder of BetVictor), Chris Christie (former Governor of New Jersey), Denise Coates (founder and CEO of Bet365), Fred Done (founder of Betfred), Carsten Koerl (founder and CEO of Sportradar), Pontus Lindwall (CEO and founder of Betsson AB), and Norbert Teufelberger (co-founder of Bwin).

The SBC Leaders Summit brings together over 500 high-level executives for the industry's most exclusive gathering. During the day, participants enjoy closed-door networking, presentations, panel discussions, and regional and regulatory roundtables. In the evening, the event moves to Estoril, with a welcome cocktail reception, gala dinner, poker tournament, and after-party at Casino Estoril, the historic venue that inspired Ian Fleming to write Casino Royale.

Participants will also have full access to the SBC Summit and the Affiliate Leaders Summit, which will take place from September 29th to October 1st at FIL and MEO Arena.
