SINDIBETS is launching a series of lectures aimed at human resources professionals in the sports betting sector. The first meeting, scheduled for Monday (August 19), will address remuneration in the regulated betting market — a topic that, according to the union itself, goes beyond a direct comparison between positions and salaries.
The central question guiding the debate is straightforward: "Is the compensation offered by companies in the sector aligned with the market?" To answer this, the presentation proposes an analysis of total compensation, which includes fixed salary, bonuses, long-term incentives, and benefits. The meeting will also delve into a more specific point: whether variable compensation models are rewarding only company growth or also behaviors that ensure business sustainability.
Expanding market, talent in dispute.
The invitation from SINDIBETS points out that structural factors in the sector make the issue of remuneration particularly complex. The scarcity of specialized talent, the operational complexity of operators, the consolidating regulatory environment, and competition for qualified executives are identified as the main elements that directly influence the competitiveness of salary offers in the betting market.
The presentation will be given by Thiago Ananias, founder of Spark Executive Search, with over 15 years of experience in recruiting executives for national and multinational companies. Ananias has direct involvement in the iGaming market and advises organizations on talent evaluation, structuring compensation packages, and analyzing the competitiveness of their executive proposals.
Format and registration
The event takes place from 18 PM to 20 PM, at Rua Arthur de Azevedo, 1877, 12th floor, in the Pinheiros neighborhood, São Paulo. Access is restricted to fixed-odds betting companies operating in the State of São Paulo, with two spots per company.
