The new opportunity to signal virtue
Fellipe Fraga, Chief Business Officer of the company, participates in a keynote address on strategies to attract the next 50 million iGaming players in the region.

Stellar Gaming, a Brazilian holding company in the gamingtech sector and responsible for operating EstrelaBet, is participating in the first edition of SiGMA North America 2026 , which takes place between September 1st and 3rd at the Banamex Center in Mexico City. The event will bring together operators, technology providers, affiliates, fintechs, investors, regulators, and executives to discuss the key trends shaping the future of iGaming and digital business in Latin America and North America. The organizers expect to receive approximately 4 participants, including 1 operators, more than 150 speakers, and 200 exhibitors and sponsors.

Representing Stellar Gaming, Fellipe Fraga – Chief Business Officer – will participate in the program on September 2nd, from 13:15 PM to 13:30 PM , with the theme “LATAM's Mobile Population: Winning the Next 50M iGaming Players”. The presentation will address the role of mobile in the expansion of the Latin American betting market and the strategies needed to win over a new generation of users who use their smartphone as their primary gateway.

RELEVANCE OF THE TOPIC – According to SiGMA, more than 75% of iGaming traffic in Latin America already comes from smartphones, consolidating mobile as the main betting channel in the region. Fraga's presentation will discuss how operators can leverage this scenario through a combination of user experience, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), and instant payment solutions such as Pix and SPEI, aiming to increase conversion, accelerate the live betting experience, and boost mobile-first consumer engagement.

According to Fraga, the evolution of consumer behavior requires companies in the sector to keep up not only with the growth of their user base, but also with the transformation in how these consumers access, interact with, and conduct transactions on the platforms.

“Latin America is experiencing a particularly relevant moment for iGaming, with a population increasingly connected via mobile phones and consumers who expect fast, simple, and integrated experiences. Discussing the next 50 million gamers means looking at technology, experience, and payments together, understanding how these elements can contribute to a more efficient and connected journey for the new user profile,” says the executive.

Stellar Gaming's participation comes at a time of expansion of SiGMA's international agenda in the region. In its first edition in Mexico City, SiGMA North America was structured to bring the Latin American and North American markets closer together, with a program dedicated to topics such as regulation, technology, fintech, player acquisition and retention, digital marketing, innovation, and international expansion.

PROGRAM – In addition to the conferences, the event will feature an exhibition area, networking opportunities, startup presentations, awards, and meetings focused on generating business. Among the highlights is the SiGMA North America Awards, held on September 1st, which recognizes companies and professionals in the iGaming, technology, affiliate, and blockchain sectors.

The debut of SiGMA North America also reinforces Mexico's strategic relevance to the regional ecosystem. According to the organization, the summit is expected to bring together an audience of key decision-makers, with approximately 46% of participants in C-level positions, creating an environment focused on connecting operators, suppliers, investors, and other industry stakeholders.

“Being present at an international event like SiGMA North America allows us to share the experience built by Stellar Gaming in one of the iGaming markets that attracts the most global attention and, at the same time, closely follow the transformations happening in other Latin American markets. Mobile will be increasingly crucial for the next stage of industry growth, and we need to be prepared to offer experiences that keep pace with this evolution,” concludes Fraga.
