Brazilian Federal Police are investigating match-fixing in basketball games after identifying suspicious betting patterns.
The cases involve NBB (Brazilian basketball league) games with Rio Claro and Botafogo in the men's league, as well as Paulista (São Paulo state championship) women's league games with Taubaté. A more advanced investigation is looking into a game between Santo André and Mesquita in the LBF (Brazilian women's basketball league).
