Treatment for gambling-related disorder related to online betting has tripled in São Paulo's healthcare system.

The Municipal Health Department recorded 114 cases between January and September 2025, compared to 35 in 2023. The Hospital das Clínicas suspended screenings and has 285 people on the waiting list.
