Playing bingo isn't just for older people. Contrary to popular belief, this type of game is very popular with casino enthusiasts – especially those who enjoy free online bingo and live bingo. Below, we'll explain the different types of games, combinations, and where to have fun safely.

How to play bingo

Bingo is a traditional game and is often associated with older people. However, there are many fans of this form of entertainment – especially online or live.

To play bingo, you need patience. Players receive one or more cards with random numbers. The goal is to complete a line, column, diagonal, or the entire card with the numbers that will be drawn. Each type of combination has a different value or prize depending on the format completed by the player.

Types of bingo

There are variations of bingo around the world, so we will highlight the most popular ones below:

Traditional Bingo (75 balls)

A classic in the US and in some Brazilian versions. The card has 5x5 squares with the word BINGO at the top, and the objective is to complete patterns such as a line, column, diagonal, or the entire card.

British Bingo (90 balls)

Popular in the UK and Australia. The game card has 3 rows and 9 columns with 15 numbers. There are prizes for completing 1 row, 2 rows, or the entire card.

80 ball bingo

Primarily used in online casinos. The card is 4x4 and the objective is to complete specific patterns such as lines, columns, diagonals, or figures.

30 ball bingo (Speed Bingo)

Quick version with a 3x3 card and numbers from 1 to 30. The prize is usually awarded to whoever completes the entire card, and games last only a few minutes.

Thematic Bingo

Adapting the game to a theme, using images, words, or symbols instead of numbers. It is common in corporate events, parties, or social causes.

Musical Bingo

Instead of numbers, excerpts of songs are played and the player marks the corresponding title or artist on their card.

Prize bingo or charity bingo

Common at parties and fundraising events. Prizes vary and may include products, gift baskets, or experiences.

Video bingo

It blends bingo and slot machines on digital platforms. The player buys virtual cards and the balls are drawn quickly, with the possibility of bonuses and multipliers.

Live Bingo

This version is also popular in online casinos, but it features a real host interacting with players in real time, making the experience even more immersive.

Where to play bingo safely

To play bingo safely, players should find a trustworthy platform, especially if they are betting real money. H2bet , for example, is a regulated betting site authorized to operate in Brazil by the Ministry of Finance.

A regulated platform ensures that players will be supported if they have any problems, questions, or complaints, and also guarantees that, in case of victory, the prize money will be paid correctly.
