H2 reports fake website to SPA and identifies over 45 domains using its brand.

H2 reported the domain h2bets.online to the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets of the Ministry of Finance (SPA/MF). The domain presents itself as H2bet but has no connection to the company. The complaint was filed under number 64873425, with technical material gathered through internal monitoring.

Registered on September 26, one day after the publication of Provisional Measure No. 1.394 (https://www.planalto.gov.br/ccivil_03/_ato2023-2026/2026/mpv/mpv1394.htm), the website copies the name and logo of H2bet, displays fake authorization seals from the Ministry of Finance, and requests deposits via PIX. In a test conducted by H2, the platform generated PIX charges in favor of third parties. Information about the payments was forwarded to the authorities.

The company's monitoring identified more than 45 domains misusing its name in less than seven days since the publication of the Provisional Measure. Among them is h2bet.games, mentioned in a Veja magazine report (https://veja.abril.com.br/economia/apos-proibicao-das-bets-veja-testa-site-clandestino-e-consegue-jogar-no-tigrinho-assista-aos-videos/). This address also does not belong to H2.

“It’s not just our brand that’s at stake. A clandestine website uses a name similar to ours, remains online, and can confuse people precisely when they most need reliable information. Those operating outside the rules need to be identified and taken offline,” says Ueltom Lima Gomes, CEO of H2.

The list of operators published by SPA/MF identifies H2 Licensed Ltda. as responsible for the H2 Bet and SeuBet brands, with the official domains h2.bet.br and seu.bet.br. No other betting addresses belong to H2.

A problem that grows with the end of the regulated market.

With Provisional Measure No. 1.394, authorized betting houses are ceasing operations. Meanwhile, clandestine websites remain accessible and are using the names of well-known brands to attract bettors seeking information about balances and withdrawals.
