MGA da Gávea maintains its fundraising routine.

The General Betting Movement (MGA) of horse racing in Rio de Janeiro, once again, did not present any kind of surprise in its revenue.

The Sunday afternoon meeting at the Gávea Hippodrome was once again the lowest-grossing of the three programs, with R$ 622.976,18. The results of the afternoon meetings on Monday and Tuesday showed very similar gross revenue.

On Monday, the coffers of the Brazilian Jockey Club earned R$ 671.843,07. And, the following day, Tuesday, it was almost a tie, with R$ 669.833,47. The change of track, due to the rains, certainly hurt things a bit.

The change from grass to sand track causes some forfeits, and also reduces bettors' confidence in certain races. ( Raia Leve – Paulo Gama)
