BETesporte announces a new institutional partnership with the National Conscious Gaming Movement (MNJC), an initiative dedicated to promoting responsible gaming and developing awareness, guidance, and support actions in the context of betting and gaming.
This initiative reinforces BETesporte's commitment to building a safer and more responsible betting environment, expanding on work that is already part of the company's operations and predates the regulation of the Brazilian market itself.
The National Conscious Gaming Movement brings together lawyers, psychologists, and specialists from different areas around a common purpose: to contribute to building responsible gaming. Its areas of focus include psychological support, education and awareness campaigns, and legal guidance. The movement also provides initial support and referrals to specialized professionals and services.
In the field of education, MNJC works on producing campaigns, lectures, educational content and informational materials, as well as promoting awareness of rights, responsibilities and legislation related to responsible gambling.
For Vinicius Nogueira, CEO of BETesporte, the arrival of MNJC as a partner represents the continuity and strengthening of an agenda that has been with the company for years.

For Cecília Albuquerque, a psychologist who leads the National Conscious Gambling Movement (MNJC), talking about problems related to gambling is, above all, about talking about people and understanding the emotional factors involved in this behavior.
“Responsible gambling also involves caring for people. In some cases, gambling can cease to be a form of entertainment and become related to how someone deals with emotions, expectations, frustrations, or difficulties in their own life. When this relationship becomes difficult to control, it can lead to financial, family, social, and emotional impacts,” explains Cecília.
According to the psychologist, acceptance is a fundamental step in this process. “Acceptance doesn't mean validating harmful behavior, but offering a safe space so that the person can understand what is happening, recognize their choices, and seek new paths. Psychological support can help in rebuilding autonomy, developing healthier strategies, and redefining the relationship with gambling,” she states.
For Cecília, raising awareness also involves breaking down stigmas. “No one needs to be reduced to the worst moment of their life. Responsibility and support go hand in hand, and offering information, listening, and guidance is an essential part of building a safer environment,” she adds.
The partnership brings BETesporte's experience in the betting market closer to the multidisciplinary work of MNJC, strengthening initiatives focused on prevention, education, and access to information. The goal is to contribute to ensuring that the entertainment provided by betting is accompanied by awareness, balance, and responsibility.
The proposal is also aligned with the welcoming approach developed by the movement.
