Covering content and information of great use to a wide range of professionals and those interested in the horse racing industry, the online course "Equine Business 101" is available, with free registration, until September 20th.

Offered by the University of Guelph (based in Ontario, Canada), the “Equine Business 101” course aims to provide support and information to those who wish to start their own business in various niches within the horse racing industry. Launched last June, the course comprises 3 discussion groups: management, marketing/communication, and future planning. Materials will be available to participants for up to one year after course completion.

Risks of the activity, suggested strategies, and business plans are just some of the topics covered by each of the groups mentioned earlier. Professionals with expertise in each segment share their experiences through videos, which participants can access directly on the platform.
