With the presence of more than 500 people, including 402 lottery businessmen, the 10th State Meeting of Lottery Businessmen of Paraná was held on Saturday (18), in the auditorium of the Don Antônio Restaurant, in Curitiba, promoted by the Union of Lottery Businessmen of Paraná (Sinlopar) and the National Federation of Lottery Businessmen (Fenal).

The well-attended and well-organized meeting, which was initially intended to celebrate 'Lottery Agent Day', turned into an event marked by demands for more "partnership" from Caixa Econômica Federal, mainly regarding the reduction of bank slip fees from R$ 1 to R$ 700.

With the notable and criticized absences of vice-presidents Fábio Cleto Ferreira (VIFUG) and José Henrique da Cruz (VIGAT) and superintendents Roberto Derziê (SUALO) and Admilson Esashika (GEPLO), the competent and patient National Lottery Manager, Gilson Braga, was given the arduous task of defending Caixa Econômica Federal, even in matters from other areas.

“It was inconsiderate of Caixa not to have sent a representative from the non-gambling area. I consider it a lack of respect for the lottery operators of Paraná. Caixa should have sent, at the very least, a vice-president to our meeting. If it were a political event, they would all be here,” commented an indignant João Miguel Turcatto, president of Sinlopar, during the debates about the network problems faced by lottery operators.

“I have the autonomy to decide on lottery game issues, but let's not think the event was a failure because people from the non-gambling area didn't come. I will forward your demands to those responsible for the respective areas,” Gilson Braga argued during one of the most heated moments of the debates.
