Galorys launches CS2 team made up of athletes with disabilities, including those with dwarfism.
Lineup will compete in PCD community tournaments and the Gamers Club access divisions with professional technical support and infrastructure.

Galorys, a Brazilian e-sports organization with trophies in CS2, Call of Duty Mobile, Gran Turismo, and two-time Brazilian Valorant champion, has just announced one of the most significant initiatives in the national competitive scene: the formation of the first Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) team entirely composed of players with disabilities who have dwarfism.

The team is set to compete semi-professionally, with regular training, clear sporting goals, and full support from the Galorys staff structure.

The Galorys PCD lineup consists of the following members: Leonardo “Tequileiro” Baltar – 1st AWP and IGL, Henrique “Mini Craque” Saturnino – 2nd Support and Rifler,

Linnicker “Mini Country” – 1st Support and 2nd AWP, Fernando “Fefo” Máximo – Lurker and Rifler, Marcos “Zika” Paulo – Rifler, Murilo “Major” – Entry Fragger and Coach Mateus “Anãozera” Pesarini.

The team is led by "Anãozera" Pesarini, a coach who also has dwarfism and brings the experience and perspective necessary to lead the project with sensitivity and seriousness.

Representation with results

An important point raised by Galorys is that people with dwarfism are often forgotten, even within inclusion agendas, remaining on the margins of sporting opportunities and visibility.

"Nowadays, people with dwarfism are often only noticed when the subject is humor and comedy, and are even forgotten within projects that advocate inclusion, remaining on the margins of job opportunities and sponsors," explains Anãozera.

"One fact we can note is that, currently in the Brazilian e-sports scene, we don't see as many disabled personalities standing out as they should, because not all disabilities are so visually impactful; some are even invisible, but only those who have them know the weight of fighting against it daily," he adds.

The project's central mission, therefore, is to inspire other people with disabilities to enter the world of e-sports, demonstrating that the competitive scene is – and should be – open to everyone.

Competitive focus

Previously, these players focused on creating comedy content. Now, they are transitioning to the competitive scene with a total focus on performance and representation.

With over 11.000 hours of Counter-Strike experience, coach Anãozera spoke about this moment of change: “If we want to inspire, break down barriers, and become examples that a person with a disability can achieve success in the world of esports, from now on being content creators takes a backseat to becoming competitors.”

The organization reinforces the coach's statement: "Since they told us about the idea of competing, we understood the responsibility we have in several aspects," explains Soraya Vasconcelos, Head of E-sports at Galorys.

“We have a mission to open doors, to encourage representation and to make our esports scene richer and more diverse, and at the same time we have a mission as an esports organization, which is to value the competitive level of national CS. Therefore, the first thing we wanted to understand from the boys was whether they were really thinking about competing or if they were treating the initiative as a joke.”

“We wouldn’t have continued with the project if we hadn’t sensed seriousness in their words and intentions. They internalized the philosophy, drive, and competitive spirit that we have at Galorys,” Soraya emphasizes.

Team captain Leonardo “Tequileiro” spoke about the change in focus and routine with the new project: “We know that competing is much more challenging than creating content.”

“We know that we’re going to work much harder now, that we’re going to go through difficult times, but we also know that the personal fulfillment of victories is something out of this world. And that’s what we’re going after, for ourselves, for the Galorys fans, and for all the people who feel represented within the server,” concluded the captain.

Business and content plan

Galorys' CS2 PCD team will have its own commercial and content strategy, including targeted prospecting for partners and sponsors aimed at bringing investment to the team's structure. In addition, a dedicated content series will cover the team's day-to-day activities, both behind the scenes and in training, as well as their participation in tournaments.

In addition to content focused on the game and the lifestyle of a competitor, the content will also show the challenges faced by players regarding the special preparation needed to play and train. The series will be a way to raise awareness among the public and equipment manufacturers about the needs that many disabled gamers have, which often go unnoticed.

The team will participate in championships aimed at the disabled community and also in the access divisions of Gamers Club, a platform that concentrates a significant part of the national CS2 competitive scene. The team has been training since April 2025 and will debut on June 18th in the Gamers Club Open League.
