Renata Gaspar, Vilma Melo, Luisa Périssé, João Pimenta, Leandro Ramos, and Rafael Saraiva star in "Bolão da Firma," a film from Estúdios Globo that has just finished shooting. The actors play employees of a mattress company who, tired of dealing with a difficult boss and his sycophantic assistant, decide to participate together in a lottery pool. They guess all the numbers correctly, but soon realize that the betting slip has disappeared.

The search for the winning lottery ticket causes several mix-ups in the corporate environment when, one by one, the characters begin to mysteriously disappear. There will be special appearances by Marcelo Adnet, Pedroca Monteiro, Ed Gama, and Caito Mainier. Created and written by Leonardo Lanna, the story is directed by João Gomez.

Other feature films are being made at Globo Studios. Rodrigo Sant'anna will star in "Help! My nanny took a vacation!". The comedian will play several characters, including the two protagonists: the elegant boss Helena and the fun-loving nanny Socorro.

Cacau Protásio is the protagonist of "Quando casa Maria Helena," which also features Késia, Tatiana Tiburcio, Érico Brás, Paulo Lessa, Aílton Graça, Bruno Garcia, Camila Morgado, Sérgio Loroza, and Cauê Campos, among others. The films have not yet been given release dates.

"Antarctica" is confirmed to premiere this year. The plot follows military personnel and scientists preparing for a harsh winter at a Brazilian base. One night, Inês (Marina Ruy Barbosa) is raped, and all the men become suspects. Subcommander Elisabeth (Andréa Beltrão) leads the investigation. ( With information from O Globo's Play column )
