Ministry of Finance changes corporate names of betting companies and updates brands.

The Prizes and Betting Department of the Ministry of Finance has changed registration information for companies authorized to operate in the betting market. The changes were published this Tuesday (24) through three ordinances signed by the acting secretary Daniele Correa Cardoso. The regulations published in the Official Gazette of the Union modify the corporate name of two companies and update the trademarks allowed in the sector.
The changes are based on updated information from administrative processes registered in the Betting Management System (SIGAP). Currently, the regulated sports betting and online gaming market in Brazil has 85 authorized companies and 87 operating licenses, of which 85 are regular licenses and two were granted by decisions of the Federal Court.
Aposta Ganha adds the 'Receba' brand.
Decree No. 807 updates the list of trademarks of the company Aposta Ganha Loterias Ltda permitted for the aforementioned operation, now in effect with the names “Trademarks: APOSTA GANHA and RECEBA”. The document modifies the trademarks established by Decree SPA/MF No. 251, of February 7, 2025. The change is based on information from process SIGAP No. 0022/2024.
A2FBR becomes SA
Decrees SPA/MF No. 798 and No. 799 change the corporate name of the authorized companies to "Corporate Name: A2FBR SA", which operates under the brands Betbra, Fulltbet, Bolsadeaposta, Pinnacle, Betespecial, and Matchbook. The first modifies the name established by Decree SPA/MF No. 2.101, of December 30, 2024. The second modifies the name defined by Decree SPA/MF No. 2.102, also of December 30, 2024.
Both changes are based on updated data from SIGAP process no. 0067/2024. The documents were prepared based on the attributions of article 55, item I, of Annex I of Decree no. 11.907, of January 30, 2024. The ordinances also consider Law no. 13.756, of December 12, 2018, and Law no. 14.790, of December 29, 2023.
SIGAP is the system used by the Ministry of Finance for managing information in the betting sector. The administrative processes that underpinned the changes were handled through this platform. The authorized companies operate 193 different brands in the Brazilian market, demonstrating the diversity of the regulated sector.
