The Prizes and Betting Secretariat holds a meeting of the National Betting Forum – SINAPO in Brasília.

The Prizes and Betting Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance – SPA-MF is holding the first ordinary meeting of 2026 of the Forum for the National Systematization of Betting – SINAPO this Wednesday (13). The meeting will take place at the Ministry's headquarters in Brasília, starting at 9:30 am. The Prizes and Betting Secretariat has sent the program to the participants.
The Forum for the National Systematization of Betting – Sinapo is a permanent space for dialogue between federative entities for the development and improvement of sector regulation. The initiative was established by Ordinance SPA/MF No. 227, of January 28, 2026, within the scope of the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting of the Ministry of Finance (SPA/MF).
The SPA-MF has reserved space on its agenda for state representatives to present their experiences, structures, initiatives, and challenges related to the topic. This exchange between federative entities represents one of the central perspectives of SINAPO. The objective is to strengthen alignment and collective construction among forum participants, stimulating the exchange of experiences and good regulatory practices, the integration of strategic data and information, and the development of joint strategies related to public betting policies.
Some states will be participating for the first time in discussions on the national systematization of betting. The moment of contextualizing the different state realities is especially important. Participants were invited to bring presentations, institutional materials, or other content they consider relevant to contribute to the debate.
Recently, the Ministry of Finance made available the adhesion agreement to Sinapo, an instrument that allows states and the Federal District (DF) to formalize their participation in the institutional articulation initiative aimed at the exploration and regulation of lottery modalities in the country. Adhesion occurs through the signing of the Adhesion Agreement and the submission of the representative nomination form, in which the federative entity indicates a principal representative and an alternate to participate in the forum's activities, in addition to providing institutional contacts for communication with the secretariat.
