Viva Sorte Bet terminates R$ 80 million contract with Bahia and ends its main sponsorship before the end.

Esporte Clube Bahia will no longer have Viva Sorte Bet as its main sponsor in 2026. The online betting and casino company prematurely terminated the contract, which was supposed to be in effect until December of this year.

Viva Sorte Capitalização, another brand from the same business group, will continue as a secondary sponsor of the Bahia club, with its logo on the shoulders of the team's jersey.

Banco BMG will assume the position of main financial sponsor of Bahia for the 2026 season. The agreement with the banking institution establishes a fixed amount and a variable portion, which will be calculated based on the number of accounts opened linked to the club.

Bahia's under-20 team already used the uniform with the new sponsor's brand last Saturday (3) during the 5 x 0 thrashing of Inter de Limeira in the 2026 São Paulo Junior Football Cup, when they took to the field with the logo on the upper back of the shirt. There is still no definition on which company will occupy the main sponsorship space on the main uniform of Esquadrão de Aço.

The partnership with Viva Sorte Bet was established in January 2025, after Bahia amicably terminated its previous contract with Esportes da Sorte, also in the sports betting sector.

The agreement with Viva Sorte Bet represented an investment of R$ 40 million per year, totaling R$ 80 million for the entire period between January 2025 and December 2026. This amount placed Bahia in the lead in revenue from master sponsorship among the clubs in the group to which it belongs.

Even with the end of the main contract, the Viva Sorte brand, a capitalization company from the same group, will remain displayed on the collarbone area of ​​the tricolor uniform.
