Mega-Sena draw 2544 had 2 multiple bets of 20 numbers each, worth R$ 174.420,00, which won prizes in the five-number and four-number categories.
When Caixa Econômica Federal allowed combined or multiple bets in October of this year, consisting of sets of up to 20 predictions in the Mega-Sena lottery, many did not believe it was possible to win bets worth R$ 174.420,00.
The signatory commented that in draws with accumulated prizes, multiple bets of 20 numbers would be registered, since the probability of winning with a bet of six numbers is 1 in 50.063.860, while with a multiple bet of 20 numbers, the odds become 1 in 1.292.
In the last Mega-Sena draw (2544) with a prize pool of R$ 65 million and no winner of the six numbers, two multiple bets of 20 numbers registered in São Paulo, one at 'Lotérica Super Sorte' and the other at 'Lotérica A Preferida', matched five and four numbers, respectively.
The bet registered at 'Lotérica Super Sorte' for R$ 174.420,00 was a group bet of 65 shares (R$ 2.683,38 per share) and the winner of the five-number combination received R$ 928.342,35 due to the combinations. Each share will receive R$ 14.282,19, which ended up representing a good investment.
The 20-number bet registered at 'Lotérica A Preferida' was a group bet of 39 shares worth R$ 4.472,30 each, and received a prize of R$ 123.105,45 because the combinations ended up generating a loss for the bettors.
Remember that next Saturday's Mega-Sena (3) has accumulated R$ 100 million, there will certainly be new multiple bets of 20 numbers.
Expanding the range of bets in the Mega-Sena lottery has always been a demand from lottery managers, as the initiative generates an increase in group bets, especially in draws with large accumulated prizes and in the special Mega da Virada draw.
