Gávea racetrack closes the week with a meeting of 9 races.
In an atypical week, in which last Sunday's meeting at the Gávea Hippodrome had a General Betting Movement (MGA) of R$ 637,462,69, higher than yesterday's night meeting, Monday, with only R$ 576.192,59, the board of the Brazilian Jockey Club is holding today's last weekly meeting, with nine races. The penetrometer reading will be decisive in determining the track schedule.
Six races were called on the grass track, and only three on the sand track. Yesterday's closed round measured 5.1 meters, and the races were moved to the sand track. This morning, some withdrawals had already been declared: 1st place, Barry Allen; 3rd place, On Fire; 4th place, Al Katito; 7th place, Reza a Lenda; and 8th place, Jocks. This number will increase if the track is changed.Light Ray – Paulo Gama)
