J. Ricardo will be running eight races tomorrow in Cidade Jardim.

World record holder Jorge Antônio Ricardo, with 13.207 wins, continues to be highly regarded by owners and trainers in São Paulo's horse racing scene. Tomorrow afternoon, at the nine-race meeting at the Bandeirante racetrack, the Rio de Janeiro native signed eight riding commitments, including three races on the classic calendar. After scoring another point in the international ranking yesterday afternoon at the Cristal racetrack in Porto Alegre, riding Big River, owned by Henrique Menegotto Lorea and trained by the champion of the Rio Grande do Sul statistics, Luciano Arias, Ricardinho took the shuttle flight to São Paulo. Tomorrow he will be in the cold early morning at Cidade Jardim to train his horses for future commitments. In the afternoon, he will once again attend the São Paulo meeting, where he has felt very comfortable.

In the Doutor José Eugênio de Resende Barbosa Special Race, a qualifier for the Silver Cup for fillies, he will ride Qumprida Meleca, from Haras Phillipson. In the qualifier for the Silver Cup for colts, the Gaudeamus Special Race, he will be on the back of Kaikos-Uni, from Stud Barreiro. And in the Luiz Alves de Almeida Classic, over 1000 meters on turf, he will ride Charme Koller, from Alazão Stables, trained by Emerson Garcia, trainer of Bien Sureño, winner of the international miles in Rio and São Paulo. In the class races, the world champion will ride Khora Campeã, Lança-chamas, Olympic Petrus, Karajane and Atomic. ( Raia Leve – Paulo Gama)
