Loteria de Concepción de Chile joins Cibelae as a regular member

The historic Chilean institution, Lotería de Concepción, has been approved as a regular member of the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Games of Chance (Cibelae). With over a century of experience, Lotería de Concepción stands out for its advancements in technology and online gaming, as well as its commitment to the development of higher education and charity in Chile.

On March 22, 2023, during a meeting of the Board of Directors of Cibelae in Rio de Janeiro, Loteria Concepción was accepted as a full member. Founded in 1921 as a community initiative to finance the University of Concepción, the first in southern Chile, Loteria de Concepción is a recognized entity in the gaming industry.

With its incorporation into Cibelae, Loteria Concepción strengthens its ties with other state lotteries and betting companies in the Ibero-American region, sharing knowledge and experience in areas such as cybersecurity, game design, and online technology. The Chilean institution was a pioneer in the development of online games and has provided consulting and patenting services to international operators in the sector.

In addition to its expertise in the sector, the main objective of the Concepción Lottery is to support the growth and development of higher education, generating surplus funds and donating to charity for eight organizations, including those related to health, elderly care, and the protection of children's rights.

Currently, the Chilean entity markets various products, such as number prediction games, daily games, instant games, and the traditional Lottery Ticket.

With this new partnership, both Loteria Concepción and Cibelae continue to expand their influence and collaboration in the field of state lotteries and betting at an international level. ( Cibelae )
