Regis Dudena will be the new Secretary of Economic Reforms at the Ministry of Finance, sources say.

The current Secretary of Prizes and Betting at the Ministry of Finance, Regis Dudena, will take over the leadership of the Ministry's Secretariat for Economic Reforms, according to sources consulted by VALOR.
His name was confirmed in recent days during meetings with members of the department. Dudena was responsible for structuring the Prizes and Betting Secretariat with the regulation of betting last year.
Until recently, the current director of programs, Alexandre Ferreira, was the leading candidate to assume the position at the SRE (Regional Superintendence of Education), and was one of the names recommended by former secretary Marcos Pinto to Minister Fernando Haddad.
For Dudena's position, the candidates being considered are the Deputy Secretary of the Prizes and Betting Secretariat, Daniele Correia Cardoso, and the Undersecretary of Monitoring and Inspection of the Prizes and Betting Secretariat, Fabio Macorin.
